Apparently, Ms Cummins called the police and they investigated the strange black box on her car. It turned out that the surveillance company was the mysterious man who jumped out of the van with the black box. He justified attaching a GPS devise to the claimants car by saying it is safer for her and for me to attach a GPS.
Ok, adjusters – Red Flag – don’t use this company anymore – best practices ask your surveillance vendor what method they use to track injured employees. If they attach GPS devices without a search warrant or illegally they may jeopardize your case – because they are too lazy to do the job of following the employee the old fashioned why.
This is a classic example of too much technology or technology in the wrong hands. The claimant is planning to sue the surveillance company.
